The International Egg Commission (IEC) was established in 1974 to establish eggs as one of the best quality and readily available non-vegetarian foods in the world. At present the membership of this organization is 80. The organization organized the first World Egg Day in 1998 in Vienna, Austria, to meet the demand for animal meat, build a healthy and meritorious nation and, above all, raise awareness about the quality of eggs. Currently, World Egg Day is celebrated in 40 countries around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, India, etc., the scope and scope of which is gradually increasing. This year's Egg Day theme is: Eggs for All: The Nature's Perfect Package.
